Where we deliver
Manufacture is in Johannesburg. We install across South Africa when the quote includes travel. Gauteng jobs are routine. Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria and other towns are priced with kilometres, overnight stays and site access.
If you only want goods delivered, not installed, say so on the quote. Offloading, a forklift or a staircase that cannot take a seat pallet must be flagged before we load.
Lead times
Lead time is stated per job. It starts after the deposit clears and the layout is approved. Fabric mill dates, steel and site access can move that window. We will tell you if a delay is on us or on the building.
What you prepare on site
- Clear access for a truck or bakkie to the hall or office
- A floor, rake or slab ready to take bolts, or written instruction if we must wait for another contractor
- Someone on site who can confirm row positions against the approved drawing
- Power for tools where we are installing
- Protection of finished floors if you need it — say so in advance
If we arrive and cannot work, standing time and a return trip may be invoiced.
Risk and handover
Until handover, goods in our possession stay our risk. Once rows are installed and you (or your representative) have signed off — or have taken delivery of uninstalled goods — risk passes to you, except for defects covered by the warranty.
Count cartons and visible damage on the day. Note shortages on the delivery note. Hidden transit damage must be reported as soon as it is found, with photos.
Packaging
Seats and desks are packed for road transport. We remove install waste where we have installed. If you take delivery only, you are responsible for packing disposal unless the quote says otherwise.
Storage
If the site is late and goods are ready, we may store them for a short period. Extended storage can attract a weekly charge, set out if it applies.
International
We are set up for South African sites. Export packing, customs and foreign install are only by written agreement.
